From the Nliven admin home page, click on the "Events" tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Select “Event Templates”. Memberships are configured as Event Templates.
Memberships: are an entity that can be purchased via a specific consumer purchase flow in which consumers can select the type of Membership they would like to purchase - based on this Membership level, Members are offered discounts or special offers on configured events.

- Send an email to nlivensupport@tixtrack.com requesting that a multi-section general admission (GA) venue configuration be loaded to your desired Venue with the desired GA capacity.
- Ensure your Nliven account is configured to "Allow Customer Login" - this is the only way to enforce Members are granted benefits they are entitled to during web purchases. For further details on General Account Settings, access the Edit General Account Settings page.
- Create a Customer Tag for each Membership Level you will offer. For further details on creating Customer Tags, access the Customer Tags - General, Memberships & Marketing Opt-ins page.
- Create a new Delivery Plan with only the “Email” Delivery Method configured for the Web sales channel. Note: Email delivery is the only supported option for Memberships. For further details, access the Create/Edit Delivery Plans & Delivery Methods page.

Membership Description / Info Displayed in Purchase Flow
Any information you wish to display in the consumer purchase flow can be configured within the Event Template in the Event Description field (under Settings → Basic Info). This field does not support HTML.
See example below “This is a test description - EN”:
Create "Membership Levels"
To configure the levels of a Membership, you will need to create corresponding Price Levels (e.g. Gold Membership, Silver Membership, and so on) under the Event Template → Pricing → Price Levels. For further details, access the Create Price Levels in an Event Template page.
See below example configuration of Price Levels / Membership Options:
The Description field within the individual Price Level can be used to share information about the Membership level that will appear in the consumer purchase flow. Sale Type "Membership" should be selected.
The Membership Tag must be set as the corresponding Membership Customer Tag that will be stamped on Customers who purchase that Membership level.
Configure Fee Set
Within the Event Template, go to Pricing → Fee Sets and configure any Fees required for your Membership. For further details, access the Create Fee Sets/Fees in an Event Template page.
Configure Inventory
Within the Event Template, go to Maps → Assign Prices and allocate inventory to each Price Level on the map as you see fit. For further details, access the Create/Edit Price, Hold, Accessible, Tag, or Seat Alert Maps in an Event Template page.
Note: Only one Price Level per GA section is supported.
Create a "Membership" Event
Under Events → Event List → create an Event and set the Event's start date to today or yesterday and its end date to a date far in the future.
Note: The publish date and web on-sale date should be in the past, so the event is viewable immediately.
Go through the standard process of generating seats and setting the event to active as you would with any Event creation as detailed in the Create/Edit an Event page.
Sales & Benefits
If “Purchase as gift” is checked, the modal will expand for the consumer to fill in the recipient’s first/last name, email address, a custom gift message, and also when the membership should be delivered (send immediately or custom date).
Example is shown below.
Create Promos for Members
Promos should be created on Event Template(s)/Event(s) you wish the Membership to be valid for.
When creating a Promo that is only to be valid for a specific type of Membership you will need to restrict the created Promo to the Customer Tag(s) you created for the Membership Level(s).
To do this, you will check the “Restrict to Customer Tags” box, then select the Customer Tag(s) you wish to apply to the promo.
For further details, access the Create/Edit Promos in an Event Template page.
Members will need to be logged in via the consumer purchase flow in order for Nliven to recognize they are entitled to the benefits/discounts related to their Membership level.
Configuring Membership Emails
You can add text to customer emails related to their Membership purchases of specific Events.
This text will only appear on emails using the Event Template you are working on.
For further details, access the Edit Event Template - Settings Tab page
