Modify a Request

How do I modify (add, reduce, or cancel) seats?

• If you would like to modify a request in any way, you can submit a “Modification Request” to the Box Office by clicking “Modify” on the Request Detail page. All modifications are up to the Box Office’s discretion.
• Once a modification request is sent to the Box Office, it is up to them to Accept or Deny.
• You must close one modification request before submitting another. However, you can continue to message the Box Office while it is open.

Can I change the payment due date?

• You must request this from the Box Office as a modification. The orange alert will let them know the request requires more immediate attention.

I just submitted a request, can I modify/cancel it?

• Once you've submitted a request, it requires Box Office attention. To modify or cancel a request, you must submit a modification to the Box Office.
  

Can you add tickets to the order after you've paid?

• If you would like to request additional tickets after a group has already paid, you will need to submit a new request and reference your original request number. You should also indicate that this new request is an add on of the original request.

Can I input less money to reduce # of tickets?

• No. To reduce the number of tickets, you must request a modification by the Box Office. Once they have reduced the number of tickets in the order, the payment information will be updated accordingly.

Why can’t I make a payment during modification?

• The Box Office must confirm your secured seats before payment is allowed in the system. This means they must Accept or Deny your modification request.

If I request a modification on a “Confirmed” order, does that change its status?

• While the modification request is active, it will not change its status. However, all message bubbles will remain orange until the change is made, upon which the Box Office must Accept or Deny.
• If Accepted:
  • The request will move to Confirmed if the total number of tickets has changed. The system logs the change in the request’s History, and the orange bubble disappear. 
• If Denied:
  • The modification request will disappear, and your request will remain in the same status.
