From the Nliven admin home page, click on the "Events" tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Click the "Event List" option.
Copy an Event: This functionality is used to build out a run of performances for a show. When the first event/performance is created (Create/Edit an Event) you can copy that performance and create new days and times for the rest of the show run.
Please Note: As of release 154.1, the copy function does not copy seat data at the event level. Seat data is copied from the event template's venue configuration and default map for holds, price levels, accessibility, etc. For how to create template maps and apply them to events, go to Create/Edit Price, Hold, Accessible, Tag, or Seat Alert Maps in an Event Template.
- To copy an Event, click on the desired event in the “Event List.”
- Click the blue "Edit Event" link below the event title and date.
- Choose the desired days of the week that the copied performances will run (required).
- Select times, and the start and end date for the run of the show.
Top Tip : If you are adding a matinee and an evening performance, using the “Add Time” link, you must put the performances in chronological order for the tool to effectively copy both events. For example, 2pm in the first Time box, 8pm in the second Time box.
- Check all desired dates as in the image below or use the “Offset” tool.
Top Tip: The "Offset" tool will calculate the fields accordingly from the rules originally created within the date fields of the event/performance being copied.
For example, by selecting "Offset" in the fields detailed below, the system will recognise that the initial performance's ticket sale end date (for any of the options) is one hour before the start time of the event.
-
Web On Sale End Date
-
House Seats End Date
-
Group Sales End Date
-
API On Sale End Date
-
Admin Off Sale Date
By selecting "Offset", the system will recalculate for tickets to go off sale one hour before the start time of each individual event in all of the newly copied performances.
- Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the "Copy Events" popup, and the new events will be created in seconds.
