From the Nliven admin home page, click on the "Customers" tab in the left-hand navigation menu.
The Customers section: holds a record of Order history, Membership affiliations, Customer Tag information, and personal records of every Customer who has purchased tickets/items for an Event within one Nliven Account. Each Customer is assigned an ID by the system, and all Orders placed using that email address will roll up to the same Customer record.
Customers List
The "Customers List" is organized by Customer rather than by Order. It can be filtered, downloaded as a CSV, or sent as a scheduled report. These options are presented at the top of the page. For further details on the "SFTP" scheduled reports delivery method, visit the Edit FTP Settings & Schedule Data Export page.
Customer data can also be anonymized within a Customer record and existing Customer records permanently deleted.
Each customer's "ID", "Email", "First Name", and "Last Name" is displayed.
Click on the blue Customer ID hyperlink to access an overview of the Customer’s records.
Customer Record
Within a Customer record, you can access "Customer' "Info", "Membership", "Customer Tags", and "Orders".
The "Details" tab will display:

"Customer" "Info" - lifetime value, average order amount, items purchased, name, email, phone if applicable, billing address if applicable, shipping address if applicable, registration status.
- To update customer records, including Shipping and Billing Address, click the edit pencil icon button in the Info section.
- Membership Info - click "View all Memberships" to be taken to the Memberships tab (detailed below).
- Customer Tags - click the trash can next to each associated Customer Tag to remove them; click "+ Add Customer Tags to do so" (can also be done at the "Tags" tab - details below).

Order history of the customer is accessible including the ability to access individual orders by clicking the blue Order ID hyperlink in the Orders list below (further details provided in the Orders Management page).
Start a New Basket for a Customer
Nliven users can start a new basket and sell tickets to a Customer directly from their Customer record in order to not enter their details manually upon checkout.
Top Tip : Customer Search for existing Customers is also available during the checkout process via "Sell Tickets".

After searching for a specific Customer and navigating to their Customer record, the option to "Start Basket" appears in the top right-hand corner of the page.

The system will navigate to the Sell Tickets Tab.

After selecting a Customer’s Event and tickets, the Customer’s information fields will be pre-populated through the “Checkout” or “Saved Basket” process (further details provided in the Sell Tickets (Point of Sale) page).
Anonymizing Customer Data
The ability to Anonymize the "Customer Info", and all orders placed using the email address tied to the customer record, is available within a Customer record.

To anonymize a customer’s information, click on the "Anonymize Customer" button in the top right-hand corner of the page.

The following message will display:

To continue anonymizing customer data click the red "Anonymize" button.

Refresh your browser and the screen will update to show this has taken place.

Note: This functionality is only available when all the customer's orders are for events in the past.
Notes Tab
The "Notes" tab allows you to leave or read messages written by Nliven Users on a Customer’s record.
Some notes are system-generated (such as changes to Marketing Opt-Ins) and some are manual. An Nliven user can leave a note on a Customer record by clicking "+ Add Note". These notes can even be emailed to the customer when necessary.
Tags Tab
The "Tags" tab allows you to view associated Customer Tags that apply to a Customer and make changes when necessary (further details on Customer Tags provided in the Customer Tags - General, Memberships & Marketing Opt-ins page).
Here you can remove existing Tags. You can also add Customer Tags to the Customer record by clicking "+ Add Customer Tags".
Top Tip : You can also remove and add Customer Tags at the "Details" tab of the Customer record.
Memberships Tab
A Customer's "Membership" information is recorded under this tab - Membership ID, level, default duration, and expiration date, etc. On the far right-hand side of the Membership, there is an "Actions" menu from which you can "Edit Expiration" or "View Web Membership Card".
Top Tip : You can also get to this tab by clicking "View all Memberships" at the "Details" tab of the Customer record.
