From the Nliven admin home page, click on the "Events" tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Select “Event Templates”. Find the Event/Show you would like to create Price Changes for. Click the "Edit Template" button to the right of the show name. Select the “Pricing” tab. Select the “Price Changes” option.
The Price Change tool: allows you to allocate price changes to seats for a multitude of performances or Events at once. For example, if you need to change the price of seats within a specific Price Level/Band for all performances going forward, it can be done here. If Events have already been built within an Event Template, then Price Changes must be added to all the performances/Events that they will apply to. The Price Change tool affects ALL open inventory within the price band it is assigned to.
Top Tip : Save Price Changes meant to apply across all Events first in the “Standard” Price Table, so the new price is set for all Events built after the change. This also saves time when using the Price Change tool afterward, as the prices are populated in the tool from the "Standard" Price Table.
Create a Price Change
Click "+ New Price Change": on the top right-hand side of the Price Changes information table.
Enter the new prices: of the Price Levels/Bands that you would like to change. If the new Price has been updated in the Standard Price Table (See Top Tip above) then it will pull through into the Price Change Request form but will still need to be allocated to events.
Add Events to Price Change: Once the updated prices have been entered, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “+ Add Events”. Here you will assign the Price Changes to all performances/Events that need to take on the amended prices.
- The "Add Events", pop up screen: Here you can choose to filter by Event Date(s) (All Future Events, Next 7 Days, Next 30 Days, Custom Date[s] etc), Event Start Times, or Days of Week. Click “Find Event” to populate a list of events. Check the box next to each event the Price Change should apply to. If the Price Change should apply to all events in the list, click the checkbox above the event list on the left-hand side of the page. Once all relevant events have been selected, click the blue "Apply to Events" button at the bottom of the screen. Events chosen will populate at the bottom of the main Price Change page.
Save all Price Changes: Once the events have been added, scroll to the top of the main Price Change page and click the blue “Save” button in the top right-hand corner. Click the blue drop-down arrow next to the “Save” button and click “Request Approval”. Click "Approve". Then, click "Save" again. The Price Change will be applied in real time to all relevant ticket purchases instantly.
To change the Price Level of an individual seat or row of seats: you can do so for one Event (more details provided in the Edit Prices, Holds, Accessible Labels, or Tags for an Event page) or many Events (more details provided in the Bulk Edit Seats page).
