From the Nliven admin home page, click on the "Events" tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Select “Event Templates”. Find the Event/Show you would like to create payment methods commissions for. Click “Edit Template”. Choose the “Commissions” tab.
Commissions: can be assigned to individual payment methods used within an Event Template. Payment methods such as Credit, PayPal and AfterPay can be assigned their own commissions. Commissions on Custom payment methods, such as internal charges and trade accounts can also be set up here.
Create a Payment Method Commission
To add a Payment Method Commission: click “+ New Payment Method Commission” button.
Enter the following fields:
Payment Method Type: Choose Credit Card, Custom, PayPal or AfterPay.
Funding Type: Populates when the “Credit Card” option is selected above; choose Credit, Debit, Prepaid or Unknown.
Payment Method Name: Populates when the "Custom" option is selected above; select custom Payment Method name from the drop-down menu (custom Payment Methods are configured in “Account Settings” → “Payment”→ “Payment Methods”. Further details are provided on the Create/Edit Payment Settings - Comp Types & Custom Payment Methods page.
Commission %: Enter commission percentage to be calculated.
Manage Payment Method Commissions
To “Edit” commission information: click the pencil icon to the right-hand side of the selected payment method type in the information table.
Archive: While editing a Commission, check the box to archive.
Note: Payment Method Commissions are only trackable through the Payments report in Nliven (further details provided in Reporting page).
