Outlet Sellers: are users such as a hotel concierge whose job is to assist guests by booking tours, making theatre reservations, etc. Outlet Sellers have limited access to Nliven, but can book tickets and manage orders for customers after receiving access to the system.
Login Instructions
After being granted access to Nliven, Outlet Sellers will receive an email invitation to log in.
Click the blue "Log In" button to be directed to Nliven to create a password and enable your account.
Buying Process
Once logged in, you will arrive at the "Sell Tickets" tab. This is where you will choose the event series/show the customer wishes to purchase tickets for.
- After an event series has been chosen, select the customer's desired performance date and time from the event list or calendar view (default) on the left-hand side of the screen (can toggle between the two).
- In the calendar view, a dot on a calendar date represents an event, and the dot's color (green, yellow, or red) represents how much availability the event has.
- If you have access to multiple rates, you can select the desired rate from the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner of the page under the available prices.
- Once you have chosen the performance date and time, when selling from zones you will choose the zone from which the customer wishes to purchase tickets.
- Choose the correct number of tickets, click the "OK" button, and click the blue "Buy Tickets" button at the bottom of the screen.
- When selling seat locations, choose the seats the customer wishes to purchase, then click the blue "Buy Tickets" button at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, you will be taken to the Basket page.
- To delete your basket and return to the last page, click "Delete Basket" underneath the blue "Proceed to Checkout" button on the right-hand side of the page. You can also review the details of the seats you have selected and if necessary, check the boxes next to individual tickets (or check the box above all tickets to select all) to choose "Change Price Type" (if applicable; "Child", "Senior", etc.), "Change Promo", or "Delete" after clicking the "Actions" menu above the tickets' details.
- Enter text in the "Notes" field at the bottom of the page, which will populate in the "Notes" section of the order after checking out. You also have this option on the checkout page. Any text entered at the basket page will populate in the "Notes" section of the checkout page.
- Once you have confirmed all order details are correct, click the blue "Proceed to Checkout" button.
- At the Checkout page, enter the correct email address, the customer's first name, last name, phone number (if the field is available to you), and the relevant Partner Order ID (field may be optional or required depending on your account configuration).
- For payment, depending on your account configuration, you may be presented with the option to pay using a custom payment method like "Direct Bill" or the option to pay using a credit card. If your account configuration allows you to pay with a credit card, you also have the option to save a credit card if using an internal one.
- Enter any "Notes" you would like included.
- After verifying all information is correct, click the blue "Purchase" button.
Switch Accounts
If you have been granted access to more than one Nliven account (each business owner has its own account; you will use the same login information to access all accounts), you will be able to switch between accounts by clicking the drop-down menu in the top left-hand corner of the page to the right of the Account Name.
Other Nliven Tools
To view the orders you have placed, go to the "Orders" → "Orders List" tab.
After clicking on an order, you will be taken to the "Order Details" page. You can access information here such as order created date, order status, purchased tickets, and payment totals.
You can also view the "Notes" page to see any notes included with this order, whether left by you at the time of purchase/order creation or anyone else.
To create a new note, click the green "New Note" button.
To make sure your account settings are correct, go to the "Profile" tab and verify your "Time Zone" and "Language Preferences". You can also change your password at this tab if necessary. After making any changes, click the blue "Save" button.
