From the Nliven admin home page, hover over the "Events" tab in the left-hand navigation menu. Select "Event Templates". Find the Event/Show you would like to bulk edit.
Bulk edit events: This allows you to bulk edit multiple performances/events within a show run. Any event field which was set up during the creation of an event/performance can be bulk edited (further event set-up details are provided on the Create/Edit an Event page). This eliminates the need to change elements of a performance, one by one, and instead allows you to change multiple performances in one go.
Bulk Edit Multiple Events
- Select "Event Templates". Find the Event/Show you would like to bulk edit.
- Click the three ellipses on the right-hand side of the “Edit Template” button.
- Click "Bulk Edit Events" on the pop-up

Top Tip : Use the Bulk Edit Tool to make changes to Pre and Post Event Emails. Using the Bulk Edit Tool will ensure that EXISTING events/performances, that have been previously created and assigned to an Event Template, receive the change in details.
- After choosing a "Parameter to Change", you will be prompted to leave a box unchecked or checked (in the case of "Active", etc.) or enter a "New Value" (in the case of "Name", "Ticket Text 1", etc.), or select a "New Value" (in the case of date fields).
- After choosing a date field as the "Parameter to Change", your options are to set the new value to midnight, configure an offset, or set the new value to a specified date.
- If the option "Set to Midnight On Date of Parameter" is chosen, a drop-down menu will appear asking you to choose which date field to offset from (for example, if the Local On Sale End Date should be set to midnight on the date of the Local Date OR if the Local On Sale End Date should be set to midnight on the date of the Local On Sale End Date).
- If the option "Set to Parameter With Offset" is chosen, a drop-down menu will appear with the list of parameters to choose from as the time to offset from. Then choose to either add or subtract, and enter the amount of hours to offset from the selected parameter. (For example, if the Group Sales End Date should be set to 48 hours before the Event End Date, then the "Parameter To Change" would be Group Sales End Date, "Offset from Value" would be Event End Date, and choose to subtract 48 hours).
Once the Bulk Event Edit parameters are set, click the blue "Review Changes" button at the bottom of the modal to review the changes.
Review Event Changes
At the review screen, review the changes and uncheck the box next to any Event that should not have this change. Once all Events/changes have been verified, click the blue "Apply" button at the bottom of the page.
Verify Event Changes
The final screen in the "Bulk Event Edit" modal is for verification. The number of Events updated, along with the Event name and date, the parameter that was changed, and both the old and new value will be displayed. On the far right-hand side of the modal click on the pencil icon to visit each event's individual Event page to see all of the parameters for that Event in one place. (These pages can also be accessed via the Events List under the Events tab on the left navigation bar.)
